QTH & background

In September 1999 I became an amateur radio operator ("ham") and was assigned VE1MCT as my call-sign. My original home station was located in Nova Scotia, Canada and its Maidenhead grid location was FN75rc.

From 2000-2001 I operated from Cambridge, England. (grid roughly: JO02bf) Where I operate under a CEPT Class 2 (above 50MHz only) license. M/VE1MCT/P.

From 2002 to Oct 2003 I was active from Nova Scotia again, grid FN75rc.

Since Oct 2003, I have been occasionally on the air in Trenton, Ontario, with a new callsign issued in December 2003, VE3TIX. Maidenhead grid: FN14gc

My lazy guide to finding your Maidenhead grid square. Using your just post or zip code (UK, US) or place name (Canada) and the Internet.

My current activities include 2m FM voice, and 2m 1200bps packet, with hopes to expand my activities up and down the dial.
